are computer-mediated tools that allow people to create, share or exchange information, ideas, and pictures/videos in virtual communities and networks.
There are five basic tenets of efficient marketing on social media.
While, it is evident that phone and email marketing are still reliable methods of marketing, without social media, much of work is incomplete.
1. Dont expect to recieve before you give: Social media like facebook, twitter and linkedin are places where you meet with people of same interest, but asking someone to like, share, comment on your post without you doing so first is rude.
2. People love to help: It is typically true on social media to work in group, such as forming a group of interested people and liking and inviting all friends to like the page, this way, with small effort, many fans can be gathered in a short while.
3. It is almost useless to keep posting to different groups: Because there are millions of group out there, there are two basic faults with posting in all groups. First that there are thousands posting in group and your post will be pushed down too rapidly to be noticed by even 1% of the members of group, secondly, even if some members do react to your posts, you cannot organize and analyze the recieved data for gainful use.
4. pages are best tools to reach large audience: Since the post you posted remains on you page and will not be pushed down by the facebook's algorithm, it will remain there till you post another article.
5. Post pictures: as it was rightly said 'picture speaks thousand times more than words', pictures seem to generate more traffic to your page, which subsequently can turn into your sales.
