It is human to pursue that ever-elusive "happiness" or the nectar of cultivating the highly sought "peace of mind". However, when life happens we often get deluged with a multitude of futile pursuits and distractions,which eventually results in a case of the proverbial dog (monkey) chasing its own tail. I often find it amusing that we are party to meaningless "selfish" actions that contradicts the fiber of what makes us human in this finite life. Anyways, reconnecting with our kind evokes happiness as long as there is no monkeying around. This also may be the reason that for some the natural world has a soul-cleansing influence in comparison to the self-conceited and greed fuelled world that has promoted itself into a plague

It is customary for days to blur into nights, and months into years. However some of mother natures creation never change, but adapt and maintain its status quo when confronted by the changing seasons and evolving circumstances. The unassuming strawflower is one such beauty that stands its ground, and is symbolic of resilience, strength and Immortality.The shades of yellow, orange and red also emanate the national colors of our blessed kingdom.
