Our very first Africa's Eden stand in collaboration with SATSA at WTM Africa—done and dusted! What a fantastic few days connecting with global industry partners. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared stories, and made this show one to remember. Let’s keep the conversations going!

But let’s be honest—coming to the Mother City without soaking up a bit of her magic? Unthinkable! After all, tourism is a beautiful business… but sometimes, you just need a day of Table Mountain views, Steenberg Farm Cap Classique bubbles, and seafood with a sea breeze. Totally worth adding that extra day!

Thanks, Cape Town. Catch up soon!

Thank you to His Excellency Rui Xavier, the Angolan Ambassador to South Africa, for inviting Africa’s Eden to a special dinner celebrating Angola’s tourism potential.

Hosted with warmth and elegance, the evening brought together key voices across the region – including Angola’s Deputy Minister of Tourism, Augusto Kalikemala, and Dave Milne, Group Hospitality Executive at Peermont Global – all brought together by the exceptional hospitality of Newmark Hotels & Reserves.

A heartfelt thank you to Lee-Anne Singer for curating a table filled with insight, optimism, and thoughtful dialogue from across Southern Africa and beyond.

With exceptional food, fine wine, and shared vision, we look forward to the continued conversation on how to best leverage Angola’s unique tourism offerings.

What a way to kick off WTM Africa!

It was an honour to have Africa’s Eden CEO, Jillian Blackbeard, moderating the opening panel on the Future Stage, diving into one of the most exciting debates in tourism right now: Go Big or Stay Niche.

Joining her on stage were some of the industry's sharpest minds:
🎙️ David Frost, CEO of SATSA
🎙️ Kgomotso Ramothea, CEO of ATTA - African Travel & Tourism Association
🎙️ Karl Parkinson, Head of Partnerships at African Bush Camps
🎙️ And Justice Ofentse, Executive Manager - Quality Services at Botswana Tourism

The conversation sparked insights, questions, and a few bold takes on where African tourism is heading – from scaling sustainably to the irreplaceable value of curated, niche experiences.

Here’s to thoughtful leadership, collaborative vision, and building a future for tourism that is as diverse as the continent itself.

If you're at WTM Africa then look up – no, seriously – look up!

That sign hanging from the ceiling? That’s your unofficial homing beacon to fantastic partnerships and great business connections.

We're sharing a pavilion at WTM Africa with our brilliant strategic partner SATSA and more than 30 passionate tourism trailblazers. From tour operators to destination marketers, we're all here to showcase the best of Southern Africa – and make meaningful connections while we're at it.

📍Find us at Stand S15 – where strong partnerships meet stronger coffee (all day, because caffeine is basically a business essential). Need an added kick? Let’s just say Amarula has also entered the chat.

Come for the business. Stay for the buzz. (Literally.)

The Africa's Eden Travel Show – Africa Edition is done for another year, and what an epic one it was! We saw twice the attendance of last year, and 2026 is shaping up to be even bigger and more impactful.

But it’s not really over yet! This morning, travel buyers from across Africa departed from Livingstone to embark on post-show fam trips, immersing themselves in the region’s wild beauty. From South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi to Hwange, Kafue, Victoria Falls, and the Okavango Delta, these journeys offer firsthand experiences that are invaluable when it comes to selling and promoting these destinations.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible—partners, exhibitors, buyers, and the incredible team behind the scenes. Until next year! 🌍✨

Day 1 of pre-scheduled, high-impact meetings at the Africa’s Eden Travel Show – Africa Edition is officially underway in Livingstone, Zambia! A huge thank you to Zambia Tourism Agency CEO, Matongo Matamwandi, for kicking things off—though he looked slightly incredulous to find that the ceremonial bell was, in fact, a cowbell!

At Africa’s Eden, we fully embrace technology in tourism, but sometimes, a touch of tradition makes for the perfect start. Here’s to curating lots of meaningful connections over the next few days!

With International Women’s Day coming up this Saturday, it’s only fitting that the second edition of The Untamed Chronicles highlights a powerhouse in conservation and tourism—Tinolla Rodgers.

From remote lodges to pioneering sustainability initiatives, Tinolla has dedicated her life to conservation, community, and custodianship in Namibia’s Bwabwata National Park. Her journey—marked by resilience, purpose, and a deep connection to the wild—proves that one person can make a lasting impact.

Three animal encounters brought the same message: ‘You are the Earth; you are from the Earth…open your heart and listen…this is where you belong’
