Thank you once again for flying Air Botswana this week. Through our dedicated men and women, we remain committed to improving and making your journey more pleasant as we continue ‘Going Your Way’. Today we share those need-to- know facts that can enhance customer experience when flying Air Botswana.

*Ticket: A ticket is not transferable. A passenger must produce valid identification either Passport and/or Omang for domestic travel, as well as birth certificates for children under 16 years. An affidavit is further required from parent(s) for children travelling on regional flights.

A through fare ticket is one that is purchased for an onward journey, including a sector operated by another airline or carrier. With this type of ticket, baggage is checked-in all the way to the final destination.

Separate tickets: this is a practice of purchasing separate tickets for your trip(s). A passenger has to check-in their baggage at every point of their connecting flight.

Baggage Limits: A passenger can carry a maximum of 23 kgs per person on domestic flights and 30 kgs per person on regional flights.

Check-in times:
*For Regional flights: Check-in opens 3 hours and closes 1 hour before the flight.
*For Domestic flights: Check-in opens 2 hours and closes 45 minutes before the flight

*Expectant mothers: Upon realisation, expectant mothers must produce a letter or fitness certificate from the Doctor that indicates that they are fit to fly. Expectant Mothers are allowed to fly up to 32 weeks into their pregnancy.

*Denied boarding
Air Botswana will refuse carriage or deny boarding under the following circumstance;

*Late coming to a point where check-in counters are closed
*Unruly behaviour
*Improper/ inappropriate travel documents
*Expired travel documents
*No visa to the next destination as required
*No birth certificates for children as required
*Expectant mother can be denied carriage if they do not have a letter or fitness certificate from the Doctor that indicates that they are fit to fly.
* Expectant Mothers are allowed to fly up to 32 weeks into their pregnancy.
*In admissible passengers: those that for whatever reason are flagged by the Immigration or Security Agents

My pricing allows me to make a profit.

Which allows me to pay my bills.

Which also allows me to stay in business.

My pricing allows me to employ people.

Which allows them to pay their bills.

My pricing allows me to pay myself for the countless hours I work. I’m truly never “off the clock”.

My pricing keeps a roof over my head and food on my table.

My pricing allows me to be able to donate to charitable organizations.

My pricing allows me to create a place for people to go when they need my services

I own a small business. One where the CEO personally works on your product all the way to taking out the office trash. One where the CEO knows your name and truly cares about you.

I am not (a 1 million p**a Company). I’m unable to provide things at the “lowest price”, buy equipment and still stay in business.

Im not the “cheapest”. I’m also not “the most expensive”.

My pricing is what it is to allow this small business to keep going which allows me to keep making a positive impact.
