Chobe Game Lodge, a haven of peace and privacy – where relaxation is effortless and you can enjoy your own space. With six comfortably furnished viewing decks, a riverside boma, two bars, six different lounges and four dining locations, a comfy chair or lounger is never far away, each with a different perspective on the wilderness that surrounds the lodge. A large swimming pool provides welcome relief during hot afternoons and there is always a waiter on hand to bring you refreshments from the bar.

Guests wishing to pamper themselves are welcome to book one of the delightful treatments from our in-house beautician (for which there is an extra charge) or hit the gym for some exercise between the usual Lodge activities (complimentary).

Muchenje Safari Lodge - Botswana Citizen & Resident Special : 01 August 2020 - 31 March 2021

Situated high on an escarpment on the quieter western side of Botswana’s Chobe National Park. With wonderful views of the Chobe River and the seasonal flood plains, its position means that it is far away from the bustle of Kasane yet just two hours from the magnificent Victoria Falls.

Chobe is renowned for its prolific wildlife and huge concentrations of game. Muchenje prides itself in the variety and quality of safari experiences, allowing you to explore the Chobe and all its wonders.

Muchenje offers 10 private thatched cottages and a larger family cottage, each being beautifully appointed with its own unique view of the Chobe flood plain.

Our family cottage offers spacious comfort, with an additional mezzanine open plan sleeping area which can accommodate 2 children. With 2 spacious bathrooms and a generous deck it is perfect for a family or young friends travelling together.

Relax on your deck and soak up the sun whilst watching animals graze on the plains below.

Your stay here includes: All meals, teas & coffees. Local drinks, Game drives, Boat excursions, Bush walks and Mokoro trails. Also included are return transfers from Kasane Airport.

Three male Lechwe, appreciate having survived the night by giving their weary legs a rest. The predators that roam the area around Shinde were unsuccessful this time, but these males must keep their wits about them as this land is home to many that consider them dinner.
