The United Kingdom has imposed travel requirements on Batswana intending to undertake visits.

Effective 8 January 2025, all Batswana flying to UK will have to apply for Electronic Travel Authorisations.

This is according to the British High Commission in Botswana.

An ETA costs Β£10 and allows multiple visits to the UK for stays up to 6 months at a time over 2 years or until one's passport expires.

Air Botswana promises new routes effective 1st October and 1st November respectively. Some of the new destinations you can look forward to are:
Gaborone - Durban
Gaborone - Windhoek
Kasane - Mpumalanga
Kasane - Cape Town
Kasane - Windhoek
Maun - Cape Town and Maun - Windhoek.

Also on the cards are increased frequencies between Gaborone and Harare, Gaborone - Lusaka and Gaborone - Cape Town.
