ROADS UPDATE
Once its pleasure to update all our dear travellers on the road conditions and safety.
Today our main subject road is the Linyanti to Mababe/Khwai boundary. `When you are coming from Linyanti, about forty(45) minutes later there is a turn-off to the left heading East to Savuti. From this turn-off to Savuti its about 26km. straight on its roughly two hours before reaching the Mababe Khwai gravel road.

This road is seriously bad and only used by the park officials and truckers who take goods to lodges and safari camps. The softness of the sand on this road runs really deep.
REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE THIS ROAD:
- The sand is too deep as well as the drive-tracks and the vehicle will easily hang and loose traction.
- The road is not regularly used, so chances of people driving by to help you is close to zero.
- its extremely wild; areas where people don't use or not seen everyday, animals tend to be very comfortable but this raises the bar on their curiosity. This means there can be a chance that they get curious about your situation while you busy trying to dig yourselves out of sand and they come too close.

Please do not take this road, rather turn and go through Savuti if you coming from Linyanti and don't think of grabbing the bull by the horn. It's too risky.

If you are coming from the Moremi Game Reserve, please use the Mababe entry point.

So far, we have had multiple recoveries on this road and on our latest, the clients walked 41km to look for help. They were driving from 3rd Bridge to Kasane and connecting to Victoria Falls.
