Time for a bit of colour! Lights, camera, action in the Okavango Delta as a Leopard returns to ground after a short rain storm. The photographic light was just perfect and the cloudy background enhanced the image ten fold. November and March are some my of my favourite months to travel to Botswana! We offer small group tented safaris with an emphasis on wildlife photography! Link to website in my bio.

Chances of seeing these beautiful animals in the wild in Botswana are extremely high. Although usually shy and secretive, once we come across them, they can become very relaxed with our presence. This young male in the Okavango ascended a tree at dusk thrilling all who got to see him. Join us on safari to explore Botswana and its amazing wildlife.

In Africa, the number of recorded antelope species sits at around 70. They come in all shapes and form, none more impressive than the Sable antelope. This is a bull that we photographed along the edge of the Okavango Delta eco system.
Our photographic safaris are small group trips to record Botswana’s incredible wildlife.

Formidable hunters, socially bonded and one of Africa’s most endangered carnivores - the African Wild Dog. Botswana ranks as the best country to observe these incredible hunters. During the Pleistocene, around two million years ago, African Wild Dogs diverged from a common ancestor they shared with wolves. Join us on safari as we explore northern Botswana under canvas.

They have roamed the Earth for some 50 million years. The last century has seen an enormous and frightening decline in their numbers pushing them closer and closer to extinction. How sad would it be if we lost them in the last wild spaces of Africa?

A leap of Lechwe in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Described as being semi aquatic, the delta is perfect habitat for them. With powerful hindquarters, they leap through the waterways and floodplains to escape predation. Image from Duba in the delta.
