If you’re a keen bird-watcher, you’ll know that the Nata Sanctuary (with its 165 bird species) is one of the places you just have to visit. The Nata Lodge, set among Mokolwane palms on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans, should be your starting point. Chalets, meru-style tents and a campsite offer accommodation to a limited number of guests. The Lodge is surrounded by many trees, home to many birds of different species. A water feature and bird feeding area ensure that there are always birds and bird antics to watch. At night, the nocturnal birds supply the entertainment.
