Today we spotted a wild tapir frolicking on our drive through the mainland! If you didn’t know, tapirs are Belize’s national animal and is the largest native mammal in Central America. They are indeed herbivores, where they only eat fruits and plants which we see in the video. How cool to have been able to see this today!
