Elder and myself would like to thank everyone who commented and recommended parents and children for our free excursion on Monday!

I'd like to congratulate Rey Rob & Zayleen, Marli Gallego & Sirene, Veronica Young & Liam and Sanchez Susana & Jorge!

Your fellow islanders have recommended you to receive this small gift we can give!

Out of the 18 names that were recommended, 15 names received 1 vote each, 2 names received 2 votes each and Mr. Rey Rob & Zayleen received 39 votes. Please see attached pictures and videos if you're interested in seeing more of the selection process.

We wanted the selection to be based off of 100% what YOU comment which is why we made this post. We selected the names with the most votes: Mr. Rey Rob (39), Marli Gallegos (2) and Veronica Young (2). For the 15 names that tied at 1 vote I selected the name at random.

I will be reaching out to these parents today to verify if they will be able to attend. Kindly note that if you were selected and are unable to attend you can pick a different parent and child to take your place. I just need to be notified of the change, please.

Again, we can't thank you enough for your support and reception and we hope to do this more and more in the future!

We want to give back in this small way that we can.

July 2024 marks one year that we have been open and we cannot thank you enough for your reception and support.

Is your child interested in tourism, boating and marine life at the reef? Do you perhaps know of a youth who is particularly interested in or particularly deserving of going to see the sharks and rays?

We are asking for YOUR help to nominate four pairs (one adult and one child) to gift a Shark & Ray Swim Cruise on Monday August 12 at 2:00 PM. The excursion will be 100% FREE for the pairs ultimately selected and we will provide refreshments and regular sized masks and snorkels.

The excursion is approximately 1.5-2 hours. Kindly note acceptable child ages are 8-16. You will be accompanied by a licensed BTB Tour Guide and Captain. Nina’s Pontiki Cruises is licensed, registered and insured within Belize.

Please add your nominations to the comments below and selections will be made accordingly as we want to gift this to whoever YOU think is deserving🫶
