One of the most exhilarating experiences we had in Belize was visiting Shark and Ray Alley with Caye Caulker Reef Friendly Tours. As we made our way over crystal clear water, we couldn't contain our excitement knowing we would soon be surrounded by nurse sharks, southern sting rays, eagle rays, tropical fish, and coral formations. The sight of these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat was truly awe-inspiring. It was almost surreal being able to get up close to these animals and appreciate their beauty. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful, making this experience unforgettable. I highly recommend adding this tour to any itinerary while in Belize.

Nothing interesting to see here.. Just snorkeling with a loggerhead turtle. Did you know the fish attaches to it are called remora? These fish like to Catch a ride with turtles and sharks they eat parasites off their host and in return the host provides protection from predators.

Fish fact Fridays… Blue stripped grunts can be found around mangroves, sea grass beds and coral reef ranging from 1 ft- 130 ft deep. Often found in schools to protect themselves from predators suck as sharks and groupers. They are one of the most common species of fish found on any snorkel adventure..

What Hurricane Earl left of where we used to dock and . We anchored the in a lagoon over at long caye and there is good and bad news the bad is that we found her yesterday piled up over some mangroves and was beat up by the storm luckily she is all up and running no interior damage.
