Alma Del Rio is looking to add to our staff an enthusiastic individual that can start as a reservations manager assistant and climb up to be Reservations and operation manager.
Position Overview: The Reservation and Operations Manager will oversee the reservation process, manage daily operations, and ensure seamless coordination between the different departments. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing the reservations department, including overseeing booking systems, processing reservations, and handling guest inquiries. Take active part of daily operations to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to our policies and procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
• Monitor and analyze reservation trends, preparing reports and making recommendations for improvements.
• Develop promotional strategies and packages.
• Be in charge of social media.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a reservations or marketing role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in computer use – especially excel.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Driving license – Advantage for those with a vehicle.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
-Must be Bilingual - Spanish / English
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
