Most of our dives are boat dives and divers are accompanied by a certified, insured PADI Dive Master or higher rating. Placencia is the perfect place for world-class diving. Our diving resort, located on the Placencia Peninsula, is the springboard to some of the most exciting diving in the world. The reason for this is that, as the edge of the Barrier Reef comes south along the coast of Belize, it

separates itself further and further from the mainland. The result is a broad expanse of coral reef with channels that go down from 90 to 110 feet, but rising abruptly into shoals and cayes, providing many nearby SCUBA locations. At last official count there are a minimum of 20 named Belize diving sites in the southern waters off Placencia, bursting with untouched coral and abundant fish life.

Effective July 4th:
Habaneros Restaurant will be closed on Saturdays until further notice. Our Bakery and deli will remain open for normal working hours.
The Grove Restaurant will also be closed on Sundays for dinner. However we will be serving brunch buffet from 7:00am to 2:00pm.
Sorry for any inconveniences cause.......

Time: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

At the meeting, we will introduce staff from the Embassy who provide assistance to American citizens in Belize, discuss the services the U.S. Embassy provides, and answer questions you may have about our services. Limited services will also be available, including passport renewals and applications for additional passport pages.

Please note that the Embassy will not be providing lunch for attendees. An average meal at the Habanero Restaurant is: $10-15 USD
