Coconut trees everywhere, sea grapes, sunshine, waves gently lapping the shoreline…everything you want to truly relax and get away from it all. I would come back in a minute; it was hard to leave!”

“We had an awesome time in Placencia! The bungalow was clean and in good shape, the shower was really great, and you can’t beat the patio view to the beach. The air conditioner cranks which was amazing - it even spit out ice pieces at us when we turned it on which made us laugh a bit! The neighborhood was alive but not too loud, granted we visited in the “off” season. All the local restaurants were AMAZING, so much good food. Ocean temp was insanely warm. We even got engaged on the beach our 2nd night there 💍❤️

“What a gem! Perfect location and wonderful house! This property is fully equipped to handle a family on a budget with beautiful finishes in a home. We travel a lot and this home surpassed our expectations of a vacation home. They have thought of everything you could need from kitchen appliances to beach activities. Tricia was a unexpected bonus! I can’t think of how many excursions we have gone on in our life but Tricia’s excursions were superior to any we have done on previous trips. Our family enjoyed private excursions to the ATM and silk/ laughing bird cayes. Brainard ( atm guide) was amazing ! Kendace ( driver/ boat captain) went above and beyond for our family. We made some really good family memories with him. I highly recommend the coconut house for anyone traveling to Placencia. Thank you to everyone at the coconut house for going above and beyond for us! Priceless memories were made in your rental!”❤️”

I just learned of a new clinic opening right here in Placencia. If there is a downfall to living in (or even visiting) Placencia, it is the frightening deficit of available health care. We have the one polyclinic and one private doctor; both have limited hours and resources. There have been many occ...

“Third stay and 2023 will be the FOURTH!! BOOK IT!! My last two reviews are full of details! Look them up! ✔️CLEAN ✔️ ✔️Spacious/Comfortable ✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️ View - like no other! ✔️✔️✔️Location is the BEST on the PENINSULA!! We had some adventure this trip with some power outage on the peninsula; but the Beach Club was open for food and fun!! Plus, the bungalow stayed cool!! Tricia gave us the heads up! That was very helpful! Thank you! This place is FRONT ROW!! PICTURE PERFECT!!! Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way!!!! Thank you, Carolyn & Tricia!!!! See you next year!!

Vibe in Placencia, Belize:
"No big box stores, no chain restaurants, no parking garages, no high-rise hotels or mega resorts. Placencia is chill. Cheap drinks made with excellent local rum and fresh natural juices. Swaying palms, laughing children, sunny stretches of deserted beach, and a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere. No shirt? No shoes? No problem. Placencia’s motto is barefoot perfect."...Well said!

Placencia Belize: "With a croc-filled lagoon on one side and the kaleidoscopic corals of the Belize Barrier Reef – part of the second-largest coral reef system on the planet, no less – on the other, Placencia is in just about the perfect place to be hailed as one of the best beaches in Central America.
