Press Release: Hol Chan Marine Reserve Fee Increase

Hol Chan Marine Reserve hereby informs all visitors and tour operators, that as of August 1st, 2024, the new park fee will be $15US (across all zones)

All pre-booked tours, prior to the date of the new fee structure will be honored at the old rate. However, tour operators must submit confirmation of booking to the Hol Chan office to receive the old rate. In addition, the Belizean fee will remain the same. However, please note that a valid ID must be presented at the park to receive the Belizean rate.

We were a group of 3 families of 4- 6 kids and 6 adults. The house was a great fit for us. The property was well appointed and clean. The dock, view, and outside area for the kids (and grownups) to play was fantastic. It was a little farther from town than we expected (but we had no frame of reference and it was just as described in the listing). All this meant for us was needing to be a little more purposeful in planning groceries and meals, etc. No big deal. There is a bar/restaurant right across the street from the house called Stax- we ate there 3 times in 6 days! Robin the bartender is awesome, the ambiance was chill and perfect, the drinks were solid, and the food was INCREDIBLE. 25 out of 10, would recommend. The owners and proerty managers of the house were easy to work with and very helpful. We had 3 excursions that started from pick ups right at the dock. We would absolutely stay here again!
