Graduating Class of 2023/24

Firstly, I want to thank the Most High for giving us good health and great weather to complete another class of 36 professional tour guides.
Want to thank the government of Belize in investing into the tourism industry and recognizing that it starts with the storytellers, the front liners, our hard working Tourguides.

I also want to thank Minister Of Tourism
Hon. Anthony Mahler for assisting each and every candidate that participated, financial assistance of $1000 towards their cost of the course.
Want to also thank Mayor Wally and San Pedro Town Council for paving a healthy community and ensuring that Tourguides have a great environment to work from “La Isla Bonita”

Mr. Ian Pou and the Hol Chan, Marine reserve Board of Directors and staff for ensuring that we have great safe areas for our guides to take guests and create tours.

Mr. Roberto Canul and San Pedro tour Operators association for always assisting our training tour guides and allowing them to be on training tours while conducting their classes.
Mr. Roberto Bradley and Ambergris Caye Fishing Guide association that is always assisting guides to ensure that they can be placed on different types of activities, especially fishing from their association.

The San Pedro Tourguide association in assuring that there is always a healthy and continuous amount of training possible for both incoming, and also for other existing tour guides. The associations are key stakeholders for a healthy community.

To the San Pedro Junior Colege for always opening doors when it comes to professional training and creating new and more professional tour guides .

My final, thank you goes to the new professional tour guides of La Isla Bonita. You have risen the bar in tour guiding. You have high ethics to follow, make Belize proud and assure that guest are SAFE, EDUCATED, ENTERTAINED and assuring that they return to Belize. Your new training, assured the implementation of the TORE model
T for always staying with your theme.
O ensuring that your tours are well organized.
R remaining relevant.
E All this comes in an entertaining manner.

In Closing , take this with you “NO JOB TOO TUFF
NO WEATHER TOO RUFF
PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY ALWAYS GET E-NUFF”.

Thank you
