Not being here makes it so difficult to find a place to stay that is fully and nicely equipped that will provide you with both convenience and safety for a longer period of time while you do research on a possible move to Belize.

Well, in Cayo you cannot beat Villa Cayo Belize. We have an excellent location right in the heart of the Cayo District and are located less than 2 miles from downtown San Ignacio. This gives you the convenience of being close to town with all of the ambiance of being in the jungle.

Each villa has cable TV, internet, a phone and a fully equipped kitchen including basic essentials. This includes seasonings, cooking oil, coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, plastic wrap, foil, and food storage containers.

On the terrace there is a grill with a lounge area surrounded by lush landscaping where you can have a drink while watching the sunset.

If you decide on a rental vehicle there is plenty of free parking. At the bottom of the hill there are buses that pass in both directions and a shuttle that passes every hour going into town and coming from town "Cristo Rey to/from San Ignacio" for $1.00USD per person. Its starts and ends downtown at the welcome center right beside the farmers market.
