This place is just off the main road in Hopkins, so it is walkable to the beach, but is quiet and overlooks a beautiful field with no houses instead of the beach. This was perfect for us as it made it feel secluded and was just far enough from the beach that the wind was calm. There are two units in the building, one upstairs one downstairs. They both have private screened in porches for lounging. In addition to the private kitchenette in our unit there was a communal cooking area outside also with a grill and stone hearth, so you can have your choice to cooking inside or outside. The bikes there are in good condition and make cruising around Hopkins very easy. The bedrooms are air conditioned and cool down quickly. The host was very nice, but there was very little interaction while there which we liked. It is run as a property, there are no people living there. It was a lovely spot and we would stay there again.
