NOTICE OF CLOSURE ON SUNDAY APRIL 13th:
We have received confirmation that BC Hydro will be conducting a scheduled power outage that affects our location on Sunday April 13th. Due to the service disruptions this will cause in our facility, we will not be open to the public during the power outage. We thank-you for your understanding of this situation that is out of our control!

We encourage you to visit us this Saturday or join us for the Easter Weekend 🐣🐰💐

P.S. Don’t fret, Robbie the Robot and the Dairy Barn run off a backup generator in the event of a power outage so the Dairy Cows will be unaffected 🐮🤠

Meet Michael!
Michael just completed our volunteer program and we so appreciated his contribution to farm during his time here!
He can speak two different languages, is one of the sweetest and most helpful people you'll ever meet and has a great eye for detail.

His favourite animals on the farm are the wagyu cows because they are so 💰expensive💰 and they originate from Japan.

He learned that the lady cows get milked 2-3 times a day, they go to the robot milker all by themselves and even get a "granola bar" treat to munch on!

He most enjoyed helping with the guided tours because he liked seeing all the different animals.

Our Spring Break campers got a super cool behind the scenes tour of the indoor vertical farm at Archway Urban Farm today! They were surprised to see "salad growing on the walls" 🥬🥬🥬🥬✨️

They even planted their own seeds to take home and one squealed "awww CUTE" when they saw how tiny the seeds were. 😂

Always a great time at Archway Urban Farm!

We are in search of candidates interested in Saturday volunteer positions, as well as summer season volunteers!
EcoFarm volunteers get to experience working with people and animals in an exciting and rewarding agri-tourism environment.
Daily tasks may include entertaining our barn cats, general cleaning, social media, assisting with guided tours, leading activities for guests and more!

With all this rain in the forecast you're gonna' want to get out of the house and the 30 minute barn tour + covered petting zoo is an amoozing option.
