Food4Kids is an inspiring organization that provides meals for kids with limited or no access to food on weekends and during the summer months. Prepared by volunteers and delivered to schools each week, more than 1,000 children in Halton are fed weekly, ensuring no child goes hungry.

We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a generous cause, and thank our 16 Superior Glove volunteers who've dedicated their time this past autumn to help pack food.

We’re excited to share that The Canadian Glove Museum was recently featured in the Globe and Mail, CTV, Toronto Star, and other notable news outlets.

Since opening in 2023, The Canadian Glove Museum has been a way for Superior Glove to celebrate our love for gloves and the innovative history behind them. From historical trade gloves to unique cultural pieces, and even famous gloves worn by icons like Elvis Presley, David Suzuki, Marilyn Monroe, and Audrey Hepburn, the museum gives insight to the diversity of gloves and ensures that there is something for everyone who stops by to visit and learn.

The museum has been a great source for us to give back to the small but mighty community of Point Leamington, home to Canada’s largest glove manufacturing plant, Superior Glove, since the 1980s. Don’t forget to follow The Canadian Glove Museum on Facebook to stay updated: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100084244904079.

Innovation is crucial to drive progress in our industry and beyond, and we firmly believe that a forward-thinking approach is essential for business growth and economic development.

This year at the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards, the Innovation Award went to Kids Inc—a camp with many options that offers flexibility for parents. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement.

We were honoured to sponsor this year's Innovation Award and attend the event. As always, we extend our thanks to the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce for organizing the evening for our community.

We are excited to announce that our new 30,000 sq. ft. facility in Springdale, Newfoundland is now open. This new space brings together two of our smaller plants, enhancing logistics and overall manufacturing efficiency.

An open house was held at the new facility which allowed for the Superior Glove team to celebrate with friends and family, provided an opportunity to acknowledge the hard work that went into building this facility, and further strengthened our team bonds.

On Sunday, Sept. 29, the Georgetown Hospital Foundation held its annual Walk or Run for Georgetown Hospital. The Georgetown Hospital Foundation has consistently excelled in fundraising, with this year's walk goal set at $90,000. Ongoing fundraising and support are crucial to providing top-notch equipment and care, as the hospital services numerous communities.

It was a wonderful day for a walk and Superior Glove was delighted to join the community in supporting this initiative for Georgetown Hospital, which is our Acton headquarter's medical facility. Thank you for having us!

Four volunteers have been chosen to teach English to children in Honduras for two weeks, as part of Superior Glove’s Children’s English Camp.

Today, we’re excited to announce our first volunteer, Tammy Fudge! Tammy serves as a Research and Development Coordinator at our Point Leamington location in Newfoundland, and also works as a Tour Guide at the Canadian Glove Museum. With her extensive experience engaging with young children during her time at the museum and her background prior to joining Superior Glove, she’ll be a great addition to our program. Tammy's passion for helping others, combined with her energetic and positive demeanor, will bring creativity and fun to the children.

Cancer Assistance Services Halton Hills (CAShh) is a remarkable organization that plays a vital role in our community. This year, their annual Tour of the Hills Cycling Fundraiser raised over $50,000, which will go toward families affected by cancer to help them with transportation to and from treatments, as well as other essential needs during challenging times.

We were honored to sponsor the Tour of the Hills event and thank our team members for participating in the fundraiser.
