Located in one of Canada’s oldest wood built Canadian Pacific Railway stations established in 1893, the Agassiz-Harrison Museum & Visitor Centre is situated in the heart of beautiful downtown Agassiz, British Columbia.

Presents are limited to residents of the District of Kent, Seabird Island, Sts'ailes, Cheam First Nation, and Village of Harrison Hot Springs. Registration can be completed over the phone (604-796-8891) or in person at the CRCC!

This photograph of Ambie Saunders McRae and her grandmother Margaret McRae was taken in Sacramento, California before they moved to Agassiz in 1887. Margaret and Ambie traveled by steamship to Victoria, then to New Westminster and up the Fraser River to Agassiz Landing to join Margaret's husband and Ambie's grandfather, Donald McRae.

Are you into trains? Do you want to learn about the history of the Canadian Pacific Railway in Agassiz? Make sure to stop in during our winter hours and explore the Station Master's office, the CPR exhibit featuring items from the train coaches & CPR luxury hotels, and the legendary caboose! We are open Wednesday through Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm.
