I was reading this morning about the crazy crowds in Venice. Here are two strategies to consider to see this wonderful destination.
1. Consider going in the off season, these pictures were from December, no crowds (even at S. Marco)
2. Get off the beaten path, Venice is much more than just Piazza S. Marco and Rialto, exploring the out of the way streets and alleys and getting lost is one of the best ways to explore.
