Hi ! My name is Atlas and I am the Mascot (Mas-Cat) of Wind Waves and Wands Vacations. I was adopted by the WWW Ohana while in Spain!
I am excited to travel the world with my new friends and explore and be a part of new adventures! I am am adventures cat who is excited to share my travel adventures with the rest of the world.
I am so excited that Agent Gina decided to take me along on the Disney Magic ! The ship sure is nice ! I even got to see a ginormous mouse wearing beach wear ! The weirdest thing was that he was bigger than any mouse I had ever seen and people all wanted to pose for pictures rather than catch him.
I got the sense that trying to chase him was not appropriate. I think I really need to figure out who this mouse is - they all called him Mickey!
Edmonton, here we come! My humans took me to the mall 'cause the air was all smoky, but then I found the sea lion show and it was on! I could smell the fish and it was like, 'Yes, please!' And then, we met up with some Agents from Wind Waves and Wands who wanted to take me on a trip. I'm like, 'Heck yeah, let's make some memories, peeps!'

Atlas
My next adventure took me on a drive to Emerald Lake, Lake Louise and Banff in Alberta!
Canada is beautiful and sure looks different from where I used to live in Spain!
My humans looked for bears and mountain goats but none were to be found. They were a bit disappointed but to be honest, I was kind of relieved because knowing my humans, they’d want to get pictures - that kind of close up and personal experience with a furry beast much bigger than yours truly was a bit scary to me! We did see bear p**p at lake Louise and there were signs out that said a grizzly and black bear were in the area.
We saw the most beautiful lakes, waterfalls, and bridges and the highest mountains I have ever seen.
We went on a gondola ride in Banff - that was up very high and for once I was glad that my humans had a firm grip up my backside to keep me safe 😉
I made it all the way from Nova Scotia to British Columbia where I visited the city of Kelowna. What a beautiful place ! There were tons of mountains on our drive there. My humans talked about meeting King Marvin at the new Wind Waves and Wands BC headquarters in Kelowna! They are super excited about the fact that they are now licensed to invite travel agents residing in BC to joint the WWW team.
I was surprised that King Marvin wasn’t a real king afterall…. However he certainly has king like qualities!
We stayed at the Delta Grand Okanagan and had dinner at the Quails Nest Winery. We toured the area and had some yummy gelato.
Our next stop is Banff😍
Howdy to all my fans ! I have started my North American tour and am happy to sign autographs anytime ….. ha ha ! Just kidding !
My humans have taken me along to meet some more of my WWW team mates and to see some pretty cool stuff along the way!
First stop was Halifax! It was great being along the waterfront - I could smell fish everywhere ! My humans didn’t seem to notice that I was antsy to come out and explore.
I checked out the Bluenose II which was in the harbour, ate at some cool places like the Bicycle Thief, Pickford and Black, May Asian cuisine.
We visited a beautiful park, saw some beautiful homes in Halifax and visited the Titanic Cemetery.
The best part of my visit was meeting some of our Wind Waves And Wands Agents.
Today my humans took me to the Toronto Zoo! They are celebrating their 50th anniversary and are giving away a trip to Walt Disney World!
I had so much fun and had a closeup look at the polar bears! They sure look cute and cuddly !
I felt a lot safer on the statues!
The weather was perfect and because it wasn’t too hot, the animals were active and playful.
The splash pad was open and it looked busy to me. I watched from afar - water is not my cup of tea !
Where will I be travelling to next?? Well... I will be travelling from Toronto to Halifax, then to British Columbia, onto Calgary, Edmonton and then to Arizona!
I am hoping to see BEARS! I hope my humans don't leave me alone with them.
I am also looking forward to meeting my Wind Waves and Wands O'Hana of some agents across Canada and the U.S.
Not having attire for my trip is making me worried but I am hoping my human will find something for me to wear so I am not naked for the entire trip.
I am also excited for a hot air balloon ride! What are your summer plans and what are you excited about?
Our Cusco adventure culminated in a leisurely final day, starting with a satisfying sleep-in. We explored the city on foot, visiting a monastery and taking in festive preparations. After browsing charming craft booths, we savored a delectable steak and wine dinner. Topping it all off, we made the wise decision to take a taxi back to the Hilton, sparing ourselves the exhausting uphill trek.
Today was Machu Pichu day! I didn’t like getting up at 4:00 a.m. but my humans insisted that I come!
We rode on a bus and then on the special 360 Machu Pichu Train. They served snacks and drinks on board and the scenery was really cool! Speaking of it being cool - it felt so cold this morning that the hairs on my tail stood straight up! I sure wish I had an outfit to keep warm.
I got to sit and watch the scenery go by. When we got up to Machu Pichu it was hot ! Like really warm - I envied the hairless Peruvian dogs that I saw. We then walked upwards for about 30 minutes - the stairs we took were old and uneven which made it challenging to balance and walk.
Once we got there it was AMAZING ! We took lots of cool pictures !
Can you believe there some humans thought I was a living cat ?
I even got to get my humans to buy me a hat ! Now I won’t be cold for the return to Cusco !
Hey there, fellow adventurers! Where are all my other MAs-Cats ? We're chugging along to Machu Picchu on the comfiest train ever, with the best view and awesome peeps from Exoticca and we can't stop giggling!
The days are getting more and more exciting!
We visited the Sacred Valley and I got to meet more animal friends - I met so many Guinea pigs and they make the cutest sounds … I was pretty upset when I saw that roasted Guinea pig was on the dinner menu! Shhhh don’t tell my new friends !
I also met more Llamas, Alpaca and the wild vicuna that were living in a protected area. They make thd best and most expensive wool.
We visited an Inka Town in Chinchero and saw lots of crafts and how the inkas to this day, still harvest snd plant their food.
The views from where we went were amazing !
Today started off with some excitement for me ! I met 4 Macaws who were being fed for breakfast ! They weren’t too bothered by me hanging around and I felt like I made some new feathered friends !
We checked into the Aranwa Wellness Resort in the Sacred Valley. I am loving it here ! There are coy fish that I am eyeing in their water area but my humans are onto me and have told me that under no uncertain terms am I to attempt to play with them ! It must have something to do with not getting wet… I was quietly (with my inside voice) calling them party p**pers.
We walked to our room and I love it ! It’s huge ! I even have my own sleeping area and can see the mountain outside of our balcony and bird watch.
Last night we ate dinner in one of their several restaurants and I tried Alpaca for the first time ! It was yummy.
My humans left me alone after dinner so that they could enjoy the spa on site. I had to promise to stay in my room …. Sigh …. Party Poopers😀
What a busy day !
We flew from Lima to Cusco! I really don’t like getting up early but my humans insisted on breakfast before we left the hotel at 7:00 am!
We flew with Sky airlines. It was fine but I did not get the nice large seats this time and stayed in my carrier for most of it!
It was super cool to watch the Andes Mountains as we were flying (flight was only 1 hour). When we landed it was about +17C and sunny but it felt a bit cool to me.
We rode on a very nice private bus that took us to an Inka farm where they showed us how they weave their fabrics. I got to meet real Llamas, Alpaca and another very large similar looking animal whose face reminded me of a camel.
This farm was more like a museum, destination and farm all in one! We had a demonstration on how they make the beautiful colours out of natural products in the way that has been done for 1000s of years, even since before the Inkas. It’s owned by an Inka family who is committed to keep the old ways and traditions alive.
They served us Muna tea, which is an Andean mint tea that’s supposed to help with elevation sickness. Cusco is 3399 meters above sea level!
I also met 2 hairless Peruvian dogs. I haven’t seen any more of my feline friends but there were many dogs of all sizes running freely on the street! I sure was glad to be in my carrier.
We are checking into a hotel in the Sacred Valley tonight !
On our second day in Lima, we got to meet the Excoticca team of other travel agents and we went on a fun tour around Lima.
We even got to see the famous main square (plaza del mhaor), visit a beautiful private home, visit a monastery where I saw another one of my relatives and a museum (Larco)
What a busy day we had on our first day in Lima ! I got to meet so many people, smell interesting things and make new friends !
All of this made me hungry !
My humans thought it would be fun to try local cruisine- roasted octopus on top of mashed potatoes balls and cerveza - local 2 brothers draft beer. I heard my humans rave about this beer. They said it tasted like grapefruit …. They said I should try it ! It wasn’t my idea of a great drink ! I think I’ll stick with milk or water!
The octopus was yummy though! My humans were surprised that this appetizer was cold but they liked the taste a lot and I had to remind them to share with me!
I got to meet 2 little boys ! Everyone was so friendly here ! They wanted to take me home with them but I think I’d like to check out where my new WWW Ohana will take me next !
The Inka Markets that we visited next were so interesting and fun! I met some more friends and my humans bought some souvenirs !
I got to sit on a Llama and one of my humans tried on a silly hat!
I got a a special Peruvian collar ! I think the colours suit me well!
I am so excited ! We walked to Kennedy park! Guess what? It was an official cat park ! They had many cat friends who lived in the park! It made me happy to see that they were fed, watered and given shelter ! I had so much fun chatting and visiting with my distant relatives !
They speak Spanish here so communication with my new friends was easy peasy !
After breakfast we walked for several blocks along the water and my humans loved shopping at the outdoor mall! There were lots of well known shops there including H&M, Sketchers, Under Armour, Columbia and a TGIF Fridays ! Can you believe that they had a canine shop but not a single feline shop?😬!
I did get to to meet a new Lama friend and tried on a Peruvian made hat !
Today we got up rather early…. I would have preferred to sleep in. My humans really wanted to check out breakfast that was included in their tour, so I agreed to tag along!
I am really glad I did! Everyone here is so friendly and there were lots of choices! I tried a fresh omelet with lots of cheese. There were lots of cheese options, juice, yoghurt and bread!

We got to the AC Hotel, Marriott hotel in Lima, Peru and the place is amazing ! The rooms were spacious and I was able to decide which human I cuddled with tonight ! Tbh, I prefer just to hang out at the bottom of the bed so I don’t get moved around when these humans toss and turn!😉.
I was a bit disappointed not to see any signs of mice or other critters to play with, but my humans were so impressed with the accommodations that I didn’t want to complain about the missing activities from my point of view.
I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings !
I am super excited… What a great first travel adventure for me!! I got to travel in business class on my first trip with my WWW Ohana to Peru!
We flew on Copa Airlines! The food was great and my human chose fish with green beans… the fish was yummy but I am not sure what the fascnation is with those green things. My human liked them…. more fish for me!
The flight was good and we had to change planes in Panama. It was really hot there. Hotter then in Spain where I came from and I am not sure that I would like to live there. We changed planes and were again sitting in the front part of the plane which was the business section.
We landed in Lima and this really nice guy named: Mario was holding up our names on an iPad. I felt like royalty! Imagine…me a cat being picked up in an air conditioned vehicle and checking into an AC hotel at the Marriott in Lima, Peru.
My human said we were being taken care of by a provide named Exoticca! If this service continues like this … I am excited to see what the oncoming tour will be like!
My first adventure with my human Ohana was so much fun!
