Fall Shopping Tour 2024

November 1st, 2nd & 3rd

This tour will be leaving O’Leary Corner at 5:00 am on Friday with pick ups to follow in Summerside and Borden PEI. NB Pick ups can be arranged enroute if needed. *Rest stops enroute.

The coach will be stopping in Augusta at the Hobby Lobby before continuing on to our hotel accommodations; the Tru by Hilton Portland, South Portland Maine. Anticipated arrival time at the hotel is approximately 4:00 pm. Your hotel is within walking distance to the Maine Mall and several restaurants and you will have the evening to shop and explore at your leisure. Due to previous requests, Brian will make arrangements to transport anyone interested to the Burlington Coat Factory.

With a 6:30 am wake up call and breakfast beginning at 7:00 am on Saturday, the coach will depart for Settlers Green Outlet Village in North Conway, New Hampshire at approximately 8:00 am where you are free to shop TAX FREE for the day! The coach will leave Settlers Green at 4:30 pm and will arrive back at the hotel at 6:00 pm where you once again have the evening to shop and explore at your leisure.

Sunday begins with a 7:00 am wake up call and breakfast. The coach will depart at 8:00 am. With a rest stop along the way, the coach will arrive at Houlton Super-Walmart at approximately 1:30pm for a 2 hour stop where you can enjoy more shopping and grab lunch before continuing on to Houlton, Maine duty free shop and then the border.

The coach will arrive in Moncton, NB at approximately 7:00 pm, Borden, PEI at approximately 8:45 pm, Summerside 9:20 pm and O’Leary Corner 10:30 pm.

What a wonderful time we had attending our second Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo!

It was a bit of a grey drive to Halifax this morning and we experienced fog as thick as pea soup on the way home coming through The Pass, but once we hit the bridge we were treated with clearing skies and a beautiful sunset. A great way to end our day!

The Town of O'Leary Recreation Department will be offering TWO bus tours, Tuesday July 16th and Tuesday August 13th, to local seniors 55+.

ITINERARY
1230pm - Departure from O'Leary Cavendish Farms Arena
230pm - Stop at Cavendish Boardwalk for some shopping and to stretch your legs
4pm - Departure for Island Preserve Company to explore the shops and gardens
5pm - Supper at New Glasgow Lobster Suppers

Nashville October 2023 Day 4 Our guests have had an amazing first day exploring Nashville today! While I’m most certain that the highlight of the day was the Grand Ole Opry, The General Jackson Showboat luncheon cruise on the Cumberland River was most definitely a unique experience! The General Jackson Showboat launched in 1985 and is a unique 300 ft paddle wheel showboat. Guests enjoy an incredible buffet style meal, live entertainment and views of the Nashville skyline. Nashville Day 4 We began today with our singing tour guide Tim who took us driving around Nashville showing us historic sites and buildings with some songs and entertainment along the way - what a great time! We spent some time on historic Broadway, toured the Country Music Hall of Fame, toured historic RCA Studio B and we are wrapping it up with reserved seating at the Grand Ole Opry! Tomorrow morning we hit the road to Memphis! #nashville2023
