2025 New Year's Levee

The Municipality of the County of Antigonish, the Town, and the Royal Canadian Legion, Antigonish will be hosting a New Year's Levee on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 59. Food and entertainment will be provided.

Just a reminder....the farmshop is closed today but re-opens tomorrow at 11. We will remain open daily until Christmas Eve for all your last minute Christmas gifts.
We have lots of soaps, shampoo bars, bath and body oils, goat's milk lotion, candles, wax melts.

Experience the magic of the season with the St. Ninian's Cathedral choir, alongside the Antigonish Choral Ensemble, directed by Janice Alcorn. This year’s concert promises to be an enchanting evening filled with beautiful, traditional, and emotional choral music that will uplift your spirits.

We’re thrilled to also feature performances by Mary Beth Carty, John Pellerine, and Heather MacIsaac. As well this year we will be joined by members of Antigonish's own Rose trio, and the woman’s vocal group AdHoctet.

Public Notice:

Please be advised that due to the Santa Claus Parade taking place on Saturday, December 7, 2024 motorists should expect detours and traffic delays.

Fairview Street will be closed to vehicle traffic by 4 p.m.

The parade will leave Fairview Street at 6 p.m., turn left onto James Street, and left onto West Street. It will head down Main Street and then turn right onto Church Street, ending at Antigonish Market Square.

Please be advised there will be no street parking along the parade route after 2 p.m.

The Town thanks everyone in advance for their cooperation and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
