In a month or so you will notice a different coloured deodorant tube. I wasn’t able to find any in Canada so I had to order from the US. Boy do I miss the days when it was cheaper to buy in the US. These are the most expensive deodorant tubes I ever bought. The freight alone was $87.67 not to mention the duty & taxes and the exchange. 🥺 sickening.

As you may have noticed work has begun on the College Street bridge next to our shop in Antigonish. Fences are up and the bridge is slowly being torn down.
While we are grateful the work has finally begun, it is even more difficult to access our business! Although it says access for pedestrians, this is not always the case. With a massive hole in the ground, safety is also a major concern of ours.
And as we suspected the full closure of the bridge is greatly impacting our business. We are normally very busy with students arriving back in town at this time of year, however that is not the case without any traffic passing by our shop.
We hope the construction doesn’t last into the winter as another 6 months of road access issues would have seriously negative impacts on our business.
So all this to say: WE ARE STILL HERE!

I'm getting a lot of messages with regard to a skin cream that people are seeing online that contains bee venom. Yes, bee venom is good for many things, however, in order to get the bee venom, you have to kill the bee. It's hard enough keeping bees alive these days that we don't have any intentions on intentionally killing our bees to get the venom. Hope that answers your question(s).

This stuff is amazing. Got stung by a wasp years ago, I grabbed plantain, chewed it, placed it on my sting and within 5 minutes the pain & swelling was gone. So many medicinal plants out there that God put on this earth to help us. 😊

I know many have been anticipating honeycomb this Fall. We just have been so busy this year that we didn't have time to get things ready for honeycomb. Sorry folks. We'll try to do better next year. There's only so many hours in a day.

Thank you to my friend Terri for the bag of mint. I put it through the Vitamix and then was able to strain all the juice and now I can make soap with it. Smells so fresh.

I now have Rosemary Mint & Ginger & Thyme scented Egg Yolk Shampoo bars. A lady told me her husband was using one that was scented with Thyme & Ginger and his hair is starting to grow back. Sure enough, when I researched it, come to find out it helps prevent hair loss and helps hair regrow. I will have both scents at the Antigonish & Mabou Farmers Markets this weekend coming.
