Did you know that...
🐝 Old bees no longer return to the hive in the evening, they spend the night on flowers and, if they have the chance to see another sunrise, they resume their activity bringing pollen or nectar to the colony. They do this feeling that their end is near. No bee waits to die in the hive so as not to be a burden to the others. 🐝
🐝 There are bees that bring pollen and bees that bring nectar, never a pollen gathering bee will change its task to bring nectar and vice versa.🐝
🐝 Although the dandelion is yellow, its pollen collected by bees turns orange in the urn of mixing it with nectar. 🐝
🐝 Bees can be useful to humans even after they have died, they are used in the form of poultices to treat joint pain... 🐝

I have room for one more color on my
Lipstick stand. I’ve been on the fence as to whether I should make dark brown or Baby Pink. I decided to try Baby Pink, if it’s not a good seller then I’ll make dark brown.

I decided to take a look at the different scents I have for my soaps since the question has been asked several times. Here it goes:

Orange creamsicle
Orange & Bergamot
Peppermint
Spearmint,
sea buckthorn (citrus)
Rootbeer Float
Winter Vanilla
Lemongrass
Pine
Coffee
Just Patchouli (soon to be discontinued due to the ridiculous price of patchouli oil)
Lavender
Pumpkin spice
Cinnamon
Autumn Breeze (Thieves oil)
Mechanic soap
Unscented Honey & oatmeal
Baby soap (unscented)
Patchouli (scented with patchouli, lavender & vanilla).

I do not use any synthetic fragrance oils in my soaps. Many years ago my sister became very ill and it took many years to find a diagnosis. She had a condition called MCS ( Multiple chemical sensitivity). I won’t go into the long details but it certainly taught me how harmful “synthetic fragrance oils” are for us. Remember, the skin is the largest organ and everything we put on our skin, the liver has to process.

A few people have asked for photos of the lipstick colors I make. Although the picture doesn’t really do it Justice, it’s as good as it gets. I do have a mirror, samples & clean q-tips so individuals can try it before buying .

Hi everyone. I have 10 soap savers left. I won’t be selling them at the Antigonish Farmer’s market as both the manager & myself were made aware that there’s a vendor making & selling them. Where I don’t make them but another vendor does, I cannot sell them as it goes against the rules which is completely understandable. With that being said, I will sell them from my house. Thank you for your understanding. 😊
