Operated by the Atikokan Economic Development Corporation with the support of the Town of Atikokan

Tourism Atikokan is a pilot partnership operated by the Atikokan Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with the Town of Atikokan. It was created in order to undertake an initiative that supports capacity building, product development and marketing for the tourism industry. The components to be highlighted in the project include:

• Workforce Development – customer service, toolkit on to

urism in the region;
• Product development – undertake research to develop inventory of operators that require TEN, packaging and other training and the types of programs that they require to enhance their product offerings;
• Brand development;
• Web site development;
• Four season guidebook development;
• Industry collaboration and networking.
