Today on board we participated in a Yachtman's Cookoff, lead by guest Chef, Luciana Berry, winner of Master Chef Brazil. I was chosen to be a Judge. What fun. We had 3 teams. Secret ingredients, and blindfolds. I will never forget this experience.

Did you know Halloween originated in Ireland? We owe Halloween to Ireland. This is the autumn festival when the ghosts of the dead return to the land of the living.

Really, though, that’s why we like Halloween. It’s not “normal”. It’s scary, it’s unpredictable and it’s a little bit weird.

Just look at the food.

Halloween isn’t your typical traditional celebration. And the food isn’t "normal" either.

Today we were at the island of Ilhabela (island beautiful) 6 km off the coast of Brazil. Although 32,000 people live on this island it is an island paradise. Spent the day on the beach. Very relaxing.

Today our cruise visited the village of Paraty. Full of history and now a popular tourist spot. We enjoyed shopping and lunch. Watch where you walk, the streets flood everyday with the tides.

Our last day in Ireland was a day exploring Dublin, and seeing the sights. I visited the Guiness Storehouse Museum and Temple bar. And finished the day at Taylor's dinner theatre. We fly home tomorrow.

A day sightseeing from the bus, ending at the Cliffs of Moher. Ireland is a beautiful country, and we saw it up close, including our own rainbow. Can you see it?

What an amazing day. First a visit to Castle Blarney. Where several members of the group kissed the Blarney Stone. Then on to the Ring of Kerry and the Killarney National Park. Finally dinner at the hotel Glenbeigh.

Today we were in the picturesque village of Cove where we visited the Titanic Experience, and got a true feeling of the tragedy. A good day learning the history of Ireland.
