Starting today, COVID-19 and influenza immunization appointments can be booked for individuals six months of age and older. In addition, new this year, RSV vaccine can be booked for individuals 75 years of age and older at no cost at select pharmacies.

Appointments start October 15 and can be booked through the Alberta Vaccine Booking System, Health Link at 811 for pharmacy or AHS clinic appointments, or by directly contacting a nearby pharmacy.

Note: Influenza and COVID-19 can be administered at the same appointment, however, at least two weeks is needed between RSV vaccine and influenza and COVID-19 vaccine.

Do your kids want to learn to play hockey? Sign them up for this class that teaches the basics in a fun environment with experienced coaches from Banff Minor Hockey. This is a great introductory program that covers skating, stickhandling, passing, and shooting. $30

Unfortunately owing to a vendor issue, no family physicians will be able to receive the Flu Vaccine. We are diligently fighting to reinstate this. In the meantime, protect yourself and book with your local Pharmacy or AHS asap.
We will keep you posted as soon as we hear that anything changes.

Flu season is just around the corner—don’t wait to protect yourself and your loved ones! We’re kicking off our series on the influenza vaccine, answering your questions, busting myths and providing key info to keep you healthy all season.

The Community Helpers Wellness Program one-day workshop is a mental health awareness and su***de prevention program funded by Alberta Health Services. It teaches you how to help someone in your life experiencing a mental health issue and introduces you to free resources in the Bow Valley so you can refer them to the appropriate place.
