🎭 - During the day bring the family to enjoy hands-on crafts, wild science workshops, kids ice carving demonstrations, and enchanting performers.
🎟 - The fun doesn’t stop at sunset, so join us for an array of evening entertainment! Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance.
✨ - There’s an all-ages Variety Show presented by Calgary Cabaret Co happening today and tomorrow.
🎤 - Book your tickets for tonight’s 90’s Après Ski Bingo Blowout! Dust off your best 90’s retro ski gear and get ready for a bingo night like no other.
🤠 - Tomorrow night is the official SnowDays Stomp! Grab your boots and hat for some high energy square-dancing with a live country band.

As we get ready for next week's SnowDays Festival, Alex from our Visitor Experience team has some tips to help you make the most of the event 👇
It begins on January 17 and runs until February 2 with a range of free and fun events over three weeks!
🐴 - This year Skijoring will happen on two days with a show at 2pm on January 18 and 19. It's free, just find a good view on Banff Avenue!
☃ - Watch a talented team of carvers create beautiful snow sculptures throughout town during the festival.
✨ - Weekend of Wonder takes place from January 23 to 26 with hands-on crafts, wild science workshops, ice carving demonstrations, and free shows.
🎵 - The Bear Street Hub will come alive with exciting entertainment including music, circus acts, and street performers.
🌙 - New this year is SnowNights which offers exclusive dining, events, and activities after dark.
🥌 - The PlayZone will be located at Banff Central Park with fat biking, hockey shot, curling, and more classic Canadian games.
💎 - Ice Magic returns to Lake Louise from January 29 to February 2 as world-class ice carvers create frozen masterpieces.

Christmas is just around the corner and Vikki from our Visitor Experience team is here with some tips to make your holiday season one to remember 👇
🎄 - You'll feel like you're in a Hallmark movie when visiting the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Walk around to see all the Christmas décor, including a gingerbread replica of the hotel.
🎶 - A Christmas Carol returns to the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel for its 7th year and is sure to put you in the festive mood. Tickets are required so book ahead.

🏂 - All 3 ski resorts will be open on Christmas Day. Keep an eye out for Santa at The Lake Louise Ski Resort & Summer Gondola or dress up as a Christmas character at Banff Sunshine Village for a discounted lift ticket.
🍽 - The festive season brings festive feasts with many restaurants offering special menus. We recommend making reservations as it is a popular time for dining.
🛒 - Our three supermarkets: IGA, Nesters, and The Village Market will be closed on Christmas Day.
ℹ - Our two Visitor Centres will also be closed on Christmas Day, so our team will answer as many of your questions as we can before then!

As we welcome the holiday season, here are some tips for getting around Banff National Park safely 👇
⚠ - Check 511Alberta and DriveBC for the latest road conditions, closures, and updates.
🚌 - Roam Public Transit can take you to popular destinations including the Banff Gondola, Upper Hot Springs, Fairmont Banff Springs, and Lake Louise. A weekend service is available for Johnston Canyon.
🏂 - There are free shuttle buses running between Banff and the three ski resorts in Banff National Park: Banff Sunshine Village, Mt. Norquay Banff, and The Lake Louise Ski Resort & Summer Gondola.
🚕 - Banff Taxi can be reached on (403) 762-0000.
🦌 - We share this special place with an abundance of wildlife so obey the posted speed limits and stay alert.
