Our Story

No matter what type of western-style adventure you’re looking for, Banff Trail Riders will give you a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies.

In summer we offer a range of exciting horseback excursions from hourly trail rides to multi-day backcountry trips for all abilities. Saddle up for a scenic trail ride along the Bow River, dig into a delicious barbecue lunch at an authentic cowboy cookout and front country cabin, or hit the trails for an overnight horseback adventure and sleep in a comfortable backcountry lodge or a wilderness campsite.

In winter, take a horse-drawn sleigh ride through a magical Banff winter wonderland or stay in a cozy backcountry log cabin accessible by fat bike, snowshoes or cross-country skis.
