The Municipality of Barrington welcomes you to explore our beautiful coastal destination, which includes Cape Sable Island, the most southerly point of Nova Scotia! Please enjoy our many beautiful white sand beaches, explore our fishing villages &
museums, experience rowing a dory first hand, take a stroll on one of our many walking trails and enjoy seafood dining at it’s best! Experience our cul

ture and heritage, through our various festivals and events held throughout the year. You will find a friendly face around every corner and many coastal vistas just waiting for you to discover them! Our coastline is dotted with many lighthouses, including the Maritime's tallest one, located on Cape Sable - best viewed from The Hawk, Cape Sable Island. Learn of the history and heritage of our lights, and like a lightkeeper of days gone by, climb the steps of the Seal Island Light Museum and take in the view from the top!
