Greetings from Gull Lake! We hope you were able to recharge with family/friends at Christmas and that this New Year finds you healthy!
We wanted to let our friends and returning guests know that in 2023 we have chosen to go on a different adventure and have sold the cottages and property at Gull Lake.

We enjoyed meeting all our renters and getting to know you all over the past few seasons! We thank you for including us in your vacations and making our summers as much fun as yours 🏖️

The new owners of the cottages are excited about the upcoming season and we hope that your travels will lead you again to meet them at “Base camp at Gull Lake”

Again, it was great to have met you all and best wishes for the new year!

Some photos popped up on my phone which reminded me of warmer days at the lake. Our first summer of cottage rentals has gone and I wanted to send a big “thank you” out to Samantha, Marcie, Andy and Mary for all their help getting Gull Lake Cottage Rentals up and running! We met some great people this summer, made some new friends, caught up with others and had really great weather! I’ll be posting a few pics of the summer-if anyone has some they would like to share we would love to post them! Stay safe and healthy everyone!

Are you a shutterbug? Beaches of 59 could use your help in their Photo Contest and you could win $100! If you have photos of local activities/events, wildlife/nature, beaches, anything that highlights the beauty and uniqueness the area has to offer, then please submit your entries to [email protected]. The Photo Contest is open from December 10 to January 10, 2020.

The initiative to promote tourism in the East Beaches area is proceeding under the name ‘Beaches of 59’. The region includes Brokenhead north to Grand Beach and the other beaches along Highway 59.

Start-up sponsorship and administration is a jointly provided by the RM of Alexander and the RM of St. Clements. An independent Committee of local residents and business owners is working in collaboration towards a February 1, 2020 formal launch of this tourism marketing program.
