Today we say goodbye to our family home and beloved Parks Creek Retreat.
Before it became the space we shared with so many of you, it was our family home. Two of our girls were conceived and brought home from the hospital here. We celebrated many milestones, holidays and birthdays on this property and we spent countless hours exploring the woods and enjoying the creek.
Over the last 6 years we have welcomed so many wonderful people into this space to relax, connect, disconnect, soak up the beauty of nature, share vows, brainstorm, create life and art, move, heal and explore.
Over the years we have made friends with you, created memories and shared experiences. Playing even a small part of your big life moments; engagements, weddings, birthdays, celebrations of life and healing, has meant the world to us.
To say that we and all of you are going to miss this special place, may be an understatement.
Thank you for your years of support and for loving Parks Creek Retreat (almost) as much as we do!
In case any of you are curious; we bought a farm near Belleville, and are growing our own food and chickens, as well as CBG h**p.
My husband Travis is growing his new excavation and landscaping business which was actually inspired by the gorgeous hardscaping and landscaping he completed at Parks Creek.
I am excited to put more time and effort into my small business Loveleaf Canna Co.] as well as homeschooling our three daughters, Charlie, Frankie and Letty and tending to our new farm.
The girls are loving having a permanent home and room to call their own after years of living season to season in different places. With 100 acres to explore we plan to spend lots of time in nature.
I won’t be posting to this page after today, so if you would like to stay in touch, you can find me over at Loveleaf Canna Co.]
The reality of saying goodbye hasn’t fully set it in yet, but ‘I look to the future, because that’s where I am going to spend the rest of my life’ - the hippie city chick
