Kickstart your fitness journey or elevate your current routine with our new Smart Strength Basics class! Designed to help you build lean muscle, shape and tone your body, and enhance strength, mobility, stability, and endurance, this class focuses on bodyweight exercises, bands, and light dumbbells.

With an emphasis on good form and technique, you'll lay a solid foundation for your fitness goals. Each session offers progressions and modifications to meet you where you are and challenge you as you advance. This class is the perfect stepping stone into our regular Smart Strength classes.

What Smart Strength Basics is NOT:

โ›” Not a bootcamp or circuit training class. โœ… Exercises are performed slowly and controlled with active rest periods between exercises to maximize effectiveness.

3 cups shredded coconut, unsweetened
1/2 cup coconut oil, melted

Line an 8 x 8-inch or 8 x 10-inch pan or glass tupperware with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl, add all ingredients and mix into a thick batter. If it's too crumbly, add a little extra honey or a tiny bit of water.
Pour the mixture into the lined pan/tupperware. Using your hands or a spoon, press firmly into place. Refrigerate or freeze until firm (1-hour or so).
Cut into bars and enjoy! Store leftovers in the fridge.

This potent homemade Ginger Tea is an effective recipe to help prevent and treat a cold or flu. ๐Ÿคง

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปINGREDIENTS
1 lb fresh ginger root
1.5 liters filtered water
Lemons
Honey, optional

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปINSTRUCTIONS
Bring 1.5 liters of filtered water to a boil in a small stove-top pot.
Peel and finely grate ginger. Add to boiling water.
Let boil for 5 minutes then bring to a simmer for 20 minutes.
Strain ginger tea into a mason jar using a fine mesh sifter. Let cool then store in the fridge.
๐ŸตFor a cup of hot lemon ginger tea
Heat 3/4 cup of ginger tea in a pot, pour into mug and squeeze in 1/2 a lemon. Add 1 tsp honey. Stir and sip slowly.

At Healthletica Hot Yoga and Wellness, we live in the real world, just like you.

For some practitioners, yoga is a spiritual path leading to enlightenment. For some, itโ€™s an all-or-nothing way of life. Others view hot yoga as the ultimate endurance test.

While we respect people at both extremes of the yoga/hot yoga spectrum, we fall somewhere in the middle. Thatโ€™s why we refer to our approach to hot yoga as a โ€œprogressiveโ€ form of yoga.

We created Healthletica Wave for real people living in the real world. Parents leading busy lives who are trying to do too much. People who are glued to their computers for too many hours each day. People who, when stressed, may eat, drink or party too much. People who have not yet been able to quit smoking once and for all. People who work too hard and get too little sleep. Theyโ€™re successful and theyโ€™re smart. They know they have to do something to feelโ€”and beโ€”healthier, stronger and more flexible. But theyโ€™re not interested in fads or anything thatโ€™s high-impact or extreme.
