A bit behind on my posts! But we headed to Caye Caulker next! Bus, then ferry then a quick walk to our hotel! Cute local style waterfront hotel. We did our G Adventures Bike With Purpose tour which partners with Ocean Academy high school to help kids learn business and work skills and earn money to help pay for school.

After our farewell to Guatamala we headed to San Ignacio Belize! Here we had a great adventure cave tubing, then some took a day off to work and relax, others went to another cave hike! Then of course more great food!

We said goodbye to Flores with an amazing sunset group dinner after a jump in the lake and some pool time! It's been near 40c the whole trip!

The ruins of Tikal were amazing! Due to covid the animals have returned and we saw a grey fox, Spider monkeys, Howler monkeys, Tucans and many more birds!

Ok the Chicken Bus took us to the Boarder of Guatamala, where we transfered to a private bus and headed to Flores, a cool Island town in Peten Lake.
Stayed at a cute lakefront hotel, hit the pool and had a great group dinner!

Today we were up early to head to the very local bus ride to the Gualamalan border, we rode in local fashion on the old Blue Bird with standing room only! Walked over the border, then into a nicer bus for our trip to Flores, a small island in lake Paten. We wandered, ate and had a dip in the pool before heading to bed as our start time to Tikal tomorrow is 5am!!!

Travel day was a success! Good flights great weather and new friends! Sorry for the photo dump! We had a freat couple hours by the pool followed by an amazing dinner compliments of tye Belize Tourist Board😎🍹🌅🏝

Today we hop the local bus and head to Guatamala!
