Two Handcrafted Waterfront Log Chalets built from large diameter logs, in a dream location right at the water's edge. The chalets sleep up to 8 guests (with a maximum of 4 adults) in 2 bedrooms. The front bedroom, that features a spacious balcony to the lake, is equipped with a king size bed and two twin size extra-long beds. The bedroom to the East is equipped with a queen size bed and two twin s

ize extra-long beds. The living room on the main floor invites to have family diners together or to relax on the comfy couch. An auxiliary wood stove provides a cozy ambiance on those cool evenings. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with kitchen utensils and cook ware for up to 8 people. The installed dishwasher makes kitchen clean up easy. Washer and dryer are installed in the kitchen as well. A 3-piece bathroom completes the main floor area. High speed internet allows guests to stay connected. Covered porches on 3 sides of each chalet allow our guests to enjoy the outdoors even on a rare rainy day. The area in front of the chalets is the perfect spot to have a small bonfire in the fire rings. A large picnic table is provided. ​***Guests are welcome to bring their own kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. Guests can use their tabletop BBQs on the picnic tables, a safe distance away from the buildings. During campfire ban times, the safe use of propane firepits is a wonderful alternative. Our guests are welcome to use their own. Holiday Creek Vacation Home:

The Holiday Creek Vacation Home is nestled in a parklike setting of the mountainside property and is part of the Kootenay Lake Lodge RV Park. This property is bordered by Holiday Creek, a small creek with a name that derives from the "Halliday Sisters", two feisty ladies who owned and operated a strawberry farm on the property, almost 100 years ago. The setup is ideal for family reunions and gatherings, since larger groups can make use of both, the Holiday Creek Vacation Rental Home and the RV Sites. The vacation home is a 1400 sft, one level, log post and beam residence that features open concept living. The combination of plank floors, wooden vaulted ceilings, free standing logs and a well-designed kitchen invite our guests to enjoy the charm and warmth of country living. There are two bedrooms equipped with a queen size bed in one and two double beds in the other. Additional foam mattresses can be provided if needed. A laundry room next to the entrance and a separate guest washroom in addition to the 3-piece bathroom are additional features. Large living room with comfy couches. The West facing bedroom allows access to the covered lake facing deck. The East facing covered deck is equipped with built in sleeping platforms, ideal for a nap in the shade. This deck can be directly accessed from the kitchen. Also provided is deck furniture, use of fire pit area and free Wi-Fi. Short walk to private beach. RV Sites:

The resort provides numerous RV Sites, ranging from fully serviced waterfront to partially serviced mountainside parking of recreational vehicles. Sites are available on a seasonal and monthly basis. Some sites are being kept for shorter term parking. A Sani dump is free to use for the resort's patrons. Outside flush toilets are located at the beach area and next to the office that is conveniently located at the entrance into the campground. At this time, we have neither hot showers nor laundry facilities, but there is always the lake!

With southerly winds, the Eastshore of Kootenay Lake enjoys mostly clear skies, while the large fire scars on the hills behind us, that are left overs from the 2021 Akokli Forest Fire, have become a blessing in disguise. Our thoughts are with those affected by the ongoing fires. We have vacancies at the roomy vacation home and at the "$119/ night- cabin for 2" starting on August 6. We are offering a limited number of daily Waterfront RVSites besides the seasonal ones- - Fully Serviced with water, sewer and 30 amp -enough to run the A/C- 22 ft max trailer length ( we make exceptions for longer stays) - WiFi at the office and around our rental units - First Come First Serve, but you can always call ahead in the mornings - Having said that: we accept pre paid (etransfer) reservations for longer stays than just a couple of days - text Klaus under (250) 505 6146 -$ 60 incl Gst/ night.
