St. Patrick's Day Quilt Draw
This draw was initiated by Susanne Hamilton, who won the Christmas Quilt Draw in December. I chatted with Susanne to arrange shipping the quilt & she had a suggestion for the quilt.

Susanne wanted to donate the quilt back to Under the Stump - Cultural Tours Gros Morne and she asked us to do another block fundraiser to be drawn on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2025.

Susanne Hamilton believes in the FREE senior and persons with disabilities programming we are offering in our region. Thank you so much for your generous donation, Susanne, and we are now selling the 100 blocks at $10 each on the St. Patrick's Day Draw.

Wed. Dec. 11/24 - It was a magical Christmas themed day as we attended the Toronto Symphony Holiday Pops concert under the direction of Jeff Tyzik. Denzal Sinclaire was the guest vocalist along with Etobicoke School of the Arts Chorus. A delicious lunch was served at the Hothouse Restaurant prior to the 2pm performance. Thank you, Roxanne Vollett, for driving her first tour for HTL. Merry Christmas, everyone.

Thurs. Dec 5/24 - Niagara Lights & Sites Tour. We were fortunate that after a stormy week, we had sunshine & dry roads for our day trip. We visited NEOB niagara and were hosted by Michelle & Rachel. We learned about the different types of lavender grown on their farm and their uses. A beautiful leisurely drive through Niagara-on-the-Lake and along the Niagara River brought us to Table Rock Restaurant.
We enjoyed a delicious meal with excellent service & the best seats in the house. Clear skies, stars above & snow on the ground made the lights more magical. We toured the lights around Dufferin Pond and throughout the city before returning to Barrie. Thank you to Mike Killingsworth for driving & kindness to our guests. Susanne
