THE 10 THINGS TO DO BY AGE 24.

ऋषिकेश अर्थात् गंगा. और मुझे तो बहुत पसंद है घाट पर घंटों बैठना सामने विशाल नदी को निहारना.

समस्या यह होती है कि जो पॉपुलर घाट होते हैं उनमे दिन भर इतनी चिल्ल पों रहती है कि बैठा नहीं जा सकता.

ऋषिकेश में है आस्था पाथ. इसे लोकल मरीन ड्राइव भी बोलते हैं. यदि गंगा को आत्म सात करना है तो त्रिवेणी घाट से गंगा बराज तक तीन किमी गंगा के किनारे किनारे शानदार पक्का रास्ता बना हुआ है - आस्था पाथ. रास्ते भर बैठने के लिए बेंचेज पड़ी हुई हैं. थक जाइए बैठ जाइये. बिलकुल सुनसान, नीट क्लीन. टूरिस्ट विशेष आते नहीं और प्रायः भारतीय टूरिस्ट पैदल चलना पसंद नहीं करते तो आस्था पाथ बिलकुल टूरिस्टी नहीं है.

और आस्था पाथ समाप्त होता है गंगा बराज पर. पुल पर चले जाइए तो जो दृश्य दिखेंगे आपका ऋषिकेश आना सफल हो जाएगा. पैदल और चल सकते हैं तो चिला डैम रोड पर तीन चार किमी टहल लीजिए. एक तरफ़ नदी, दूसरी तरफ़ जंगल सामने पहाड़. वैसे दृश्य केवल बॉलीवुड मूवीज़ में ही दिखते हैं.

लगभग पाँच से दस किमी पैदल चलना होगा. आराम से रुकते बैठते जाइए. यही करने ही आये हैं ऋषिकेश.

और यदि भूख लगे, बजट है तो बहुत अच्छे फैंसी रेस्टोरेंट भी हैं गंगा फ़ेसिंग. जल जलेबी गंगा किनारे होटल में विशेष कर सबसे फैंसी है. वहाँ की पहाड़ थाली खाइये. सम हाउ समस्या यह रहती है अधिकतर टूरिस्ट या लोकल भी जाते हैं पहाड़ घूमने और चिली पनीर खा कर वापस आ जाते हैं. जल जलेबी में पहाड़ थाली खाइये लोकल कुज़ीन (हाई एंड रेस्टोरेंट है). अन्यथा त्रिवेणी घाट में निकलते ही राजस्थान स्वीट्स है - सबसे मशहूर रेस्टोरेंट. यहाँ आपको सीट पाने के लिए फाइट करना होगा.

यदि गंगा को वाक़ई महसूस करना हो, शांति से बैठ निहारना हो ध्यान करना हो, आस्था पथ ऋषिकेश में जाना न भूलें.

When traveling there, there are a few common mistakes that travelers make and you should steer clear of them for sure!

⏳ Don't be late -

Finns are very punctual, and being late is considered rude and disrespectful.

It's always best to arrive on time, or even a few minutes early, for appointments and social gatherings.

🗣️ Don’t be loud in public -

Finns value their personal space and privacy, and they tend to be quiet in public places like restaurants or parks.

Avoid speaking loudly on your phone or with your group.

👟 Don't wear shoes inside -

It's customary to take off your shoes when entering a Finnish home or sauna.
