Lastly, we continue to offer opportunities for social interaction through our activities. Drop-In Times are:

Our Story

In October 2014, CMHA Peel’s two programs, Partnership Place and Eden Place Drop-In amalgamated and became what is now known as Recovery West. Partnership Place developed as the result of amalgamating two long-standing CMHA Peel programs, PAR North and PAR South Clubhouses in 201o.

Recovery West focuses on supporting individuals in recovery from mental health issues through 1:1 support, groups, activities, peer support and vocational services. Our program offers a wide range of groups, such as Understanding Anxiety, Hearing Voices, Cooking & Baking Groups, WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Planning), SMART (Self Management and Recovery Training), Anger Solutions, Creative Writing, Mindfulness, Q***r Minds and many more. We also offer vocational support in the Career Centre that includes 1:1 support, job boards, work simulations, access to computers, faxing and photocopier, resume/ job seeking assistance, and vocational volunteer placements (VVPs). Lastly, we continue to offer opportunities for social interaction and recreation through a wide variety of activities and programming. These range from playing pool or colouring in the cafe to special events, such as our annual trip to the CNE, our semi-annual Recovery Afternoon celebration, outings once per month, BBQs, and much more. Drop-In Times are: Tuesday- Friday 4:00 - 8:00 and Saturday Noon - 4:00 (Except long weekends). This is a great opportunity for potential members to visit our space and see what our program is all about.

Recovery West Day Program Hours are:

Monday- Friday from 9:00-4:00 (Except holidays). To become a member, please call CMHA Peel Dufferin Central Intake at 905-451-2123
