Effective immediately, all Selwyn Township owned boat access areas are CLOSED until further notice, including the Water Street Boat Launch in Lakefield (adjacent to Toth Marine) to comply with the Provincial Order to close all outdoor recreational amenities.

Local Police Services will be enforcing Provincial directives, including misuse of boat access areas. The public can report issues to the following non-emergency #’s.
- Smith and Ennismore Wards – Peterborough County OPP non-emergency contact 705-742-0401 or 1-888-310-1122.
- Lakefield Ward - Peterborough Police Service non-emergency line at 705-876-1122.
- Important - 9-1-1 is for emergencies only; reports of non-compliance related to the above are to be reported to the non-emergency #’s not 9-1-1.
