Last Sunday turned out to be a great day for the historical campfire cooking event held at the MARC in Dayspring and hosted by District of Lunenburg Recreation, Parks and Tourism. A big thank you to all of those who came out to participate and as always it was fun to cook and serve food from recipes that are at least as old as the 19th century if not older. I will be posting more photos from this event. As well I'd like to thank Chasity Zwicker for taking some fantastic photos.

On Sunday I had the pleasure of leading a shelter building workshop through the District of Lunenburg Recreation, Parks and Tourism. Despite the rain a great group came out and we had lots of fun. Here is a not quite finished debris hut which is purposely tall for air flow in warmer months.
