🛳️ Disney Cruise Line Embraces Summer 2026 with Family Vacations to The Bahamas and Caribbean

Tropical Getaways from Central Florida
Guests seeking a sunny escape will be able to depart from Port Canaveral, Florida on three different Disney Cruise Line ships to destinations in The Bahamas and Eastern or Western Caribbean, including stops at Disney’s tropical retreats, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

Both offering Bahamian itineraries, the Disney Fantasy will set sail on four- and five-night voyages and the Disney Wish will depart on three- and four-night voyages. The Disney Fantasy will also offer a 10-night cruise to the Southern Caribbean. Meanwhile, the Disney Treasure will embark on seven-night sailings to Eastern or Western Caribbean, giving guests a chance to soak up rays on the beautiful beaches of Tortola, British Virgin Isles; Falmouth, Jamaica; Cozumel, Mexico and more.

Sunny Vacations from South Florida
Departing on four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, the Disney Destiny, which launches in November of 2025, will visit Nassau, The Bahamas, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The Disney Destiny will also offer two seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean during the summer season.

🛳️ Disney Cruise Line Embraces Summer 2026 with Family Vacations to Europe

New European Escapes
For the first time, the Disney Dream will call on the island city of Cagliari, located in Sardinia, Italy, a brand-new destination for Disney Cruise Line. As the Disney Dream returns to Europe for the summer, it will invite guests to travel to picture-perfect ports across Italy, Greece, Croatia, Malta, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, and the United Kingdom.

The Disney Dream will kick off summer with a 14-night transatlantic crossing from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Barcelona, Spain. Departing from Barcelona or Civitavecchia, Italy, the Disney Dream will then set sail on seven- to twelve-night Mediterranean cruises. Guests will call upon popular Greek islands to visit the blue-topped spires in Santorini, the famous windmills of Mykonos, ancient landmarks in Rhodes, and many more scenic locales.

The Disney Dream will finish out the season with three-, four-, and seven-night sailings out of Southampton, United Kingdom to Northern Europe and the Norwegian Fjords. Exploration awaits guests in the quaint, idyllic village of Olden, Norway; the seaside capital of Copenhagen, Denmark; the rocky shores of Portland, United Kingdom; and many more exciting ports of call.

Alaskan Adventures from Vancouver
With the introduction of a ✨SECOND SHIP✨ to Alaska, Disney Cruise Line will return with even more sailings bound for the picturesque glacial landscape of North America.

Beginning in May, both the 🛳️ Disney Magic and the 🛳️ Disney Wonder will embark on seven-night voyages from Vancouver, Canada. Ports of call will include Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan, all famous for their prehistoric glaciers, rich histories and eclectic shopping. Cruisers will also discover the incomparable natural beauty of Alaska when they visit Dawes Glacier, a majestic tidewater glacier that towers over 600-feet tall.

🛳️ It’s Back!

Beginning Feb. 1, Disney Cruise Line will bring back Dine and Play in a phased approach across the fleet. This offering allows children to participate in fun and engaging activities while adults enjoy a leisurely dining experience.

Here are some reminders about this guest-favourite offering:

🔹 Available for children ages 3-10 who are registered at The Oceaneer Club/Lab
🔹 Only available for second dinner seating
🔹 Dining room servers will ask guests if they are participating in Dine and Play
🔹 Guests are responsible for bringing their child to the entrance of the dining room to meet the Youth Activities team between 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. for check in. The Youth Activities Counselors will then es**rt children to the Disney’s Oceaneer Club/Lab.

Dine and Play is returning to the Disney Cruise Line fleet in a phased approach:

Disney Cruise Line shared more details on the expansion of its award-winning fleet, including the introduction of a new class of vessel and the addition of a fourth ship in the Wish class. These ships, will debut between 2027 and 2031.

New Ship Class
The three vessels in Disney’s new ship class will feature industry-leading technology and design to expand Disney Cruise Line’s global reach and support its environmental goals. Able to carry 3,000 Guests and measuring approximately 100,000 gross tons, they will be 20 percent larger than the Disney Magic class and smaller than the Disney Dream and Disney Wish classes, ultimately allowing Disney Cruise Line to access more ports and destinations across the globe, bringing its world-class entertainment, incredible dining, Guest service, and uniquely Disney experiences to more families in more places. The three ships are planned for delivery in 2029, 2030 and 2031.

Among the lightest cruise ships of their size in the industry, the new vessels will save fuel with a streamlined hull, next-generation power and propulsion systems, and numerous other operations optimized for energy efficiency. In addition to an innovative design and the efficient use of building materials from bow to stern, the ships will be outfitted with energy-efficient systems and a battery system to support and supplement the main engines.

When in port, the new vessels can rely on shore power technology to turn off their engines and “plug in” to a port’s energy grid to run onboard systems. They will also have the capability and flexibility to operate on a variety of fuels, including hydrotreated vegetable oil and renewable methanol fuels, while remaining adaptable to additional fuel options that become available to the cruise industry. The new class will also continue Disney Cruise Line’s long-standing initiatives to minimize waste, conserve water and align with The Walt Disney Company’s 2030 environmental goals.

Fourth Wish Class Ship
In addition to this new class of vessel, Disney Cruise Line will introduce an additional sister ship to the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. The ship, set for delivery in 2027, will be approximately 144,000 gross tons, accommodate 4,000 Guests, and be powered by liquefied natural gas.

The four ship names, onboard experiences, itineraries and designs are still in development - stay tuned for updates!
