Have you ever had wine straight from a tank....in Calgary? We offer the city's only wine and grape tour, complete with charcuterie two facilty tours and, yes, wine samples from the tank. 🍷

While our wine tour usually requires a minimum of 6 guests, once a month, we offer a Jump On tour from the Calgary Tower for groups less than 6. We do the same with our Educational brewery tour, too. 🍺

The final month of our pilot in Calgary is coming to a close, and we can’t thank our participants enough for their incredible support and enthusiasm.

Throughout the journey, we’ve learned so much, and we’re excited to apply those insights to the upcoming BeerQuest25, which has been completely redesigned to offer an even better experience.

Calgary's Newest Brewery Is Here And Its The First Ever In The NW. Congrats to owners Miranda , Jocelyn, Robert, Jim, and brewer Colin for reaching the finish line.

is located in the heart of Bowness and has all the ingredients to be a perfect hangout for the community and guests alike.

9 in-house beers, collabs, cider, and wine....all on tap! And if you like food, they have tasty items.

With today's stops, we only have one more brewery to visit before we have officially been to every taproom in Calgary!

We will post some notes on and on our site soon, but if you have not been, these are two fantastic little cozy breweries that are built on making dreams a reality. The beers are excellently crafted and worthy of support from the community!

It's nights like tonight that keep us motivated to want to show as many people as we can about how great we think Calgary's craft beer scene is.

We had a booking from these lovely ladies from New Jersey who were traveling on the train and who also happened to enjoy beer.

We are very big on the beers coming out of right now, so we wanted to stop in. Lucky for us, brewmaster Liam was on site packaging a Brut IPA. Now, we don't want to spoil their release, but Liam, who took the time out of his day to meet our guests and show them around, poured samples straight from the tank before it even made it's way to cans or kegs. We gotta tell ya, not only was that a cool experience, but this is one you don't want to miss. Their unnamed beer was delicious with additions of fresh Hibiscus, and more importantly, Brut IPA is an insanely rare style we have never seen anyone in Calgary make. So, if you are into rare beer experiences, this is one you should check off.

Another side note... even though these fine gals were from the New York area. They actually said, " this is the best pizza we have ever had" in reference to when we popped into 88.

Needless to say, kicking off the afternoon at the 2021 Canadian Brewery of the Year (and 2021 / 2023 Alberta Brewery of the Year) is a great way to introduce some visitors to our local scene.

Cheers to all the staff and fellow Calgarians who made this a wonderful evening for 3 fine ladies from New Jersey who were visiting Calgary for the very first time.

We finally got our hands on some beer from in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

The Marzen was the official beer of Oktoberfest for 120 years before it was replaced by Festbier.

Traditionally, German versions of this style are lighter in colour, while North American ones are more amber, as seen in the image.

The Marzen has a pretty cool backstory as we covered in our recent article about this years from . Our profile tree has a link to it if you care to check it out.

Now, if you don't mind, we are going to go enjoy this super tatsy brew.
