As an extension to this, they offer Global Adventures which means a run / race per day (some people jog or hike) then local activities in the afternoon and this in many different countries around the 🌎 .

🚨🇨🇦 Presentations part 3: The ACMG - Association of Canadian Mountain Guides - requires guides from all streams (Alpine, Rock, Ski, Hiking etc..) to have an 80 Hour Wilderness First Aid (=2 weeks) which has to be renewed every 3 years (5 days minimum). Some are surprised of how intense it is.. The body is complex, no wonder it’s intense!
🚨In case of an emergency out in the wild and at times hours away from a road or hospital, this training enables us to decide if we need to evacuate - and how - or not and give our guests the best level of care until EMT or health professionals take over.
🇨🇦 Our Canadian National and Provincial Parks also require us to have this training and certification in order to guide in parks.
🚨 So when you visit our Canadian Rockies this summer or another country or park anytime, do me a favour and ask those you hire as “guides” if they are trained in case something happens to you. Many people call themselves “guides” but don’t have any training..
