No fun was had last weekend 😊

This weekend has been super busy HOWEVER I would not change anything about it.

Saturday - private sunrise paddle tour, rentals and paddle club, followed by driving 3hrs to Edmonton to see The Script, Sheryl Cole and P!NK!!! And of course driving back same day 😊

Sunday (today) - 9am lesson for a beautiful family. They all got standing and had a blast learning self rescue. Sold out on rentals today. Even flipped some boards after cleaning down, draining and drying (knowing they were also using them at the same body of water).

I love what I do. I get to meet some incredible people from all corners of the world and be a part of making memories one way or another.

Thank you all for supporting my small and local Calgary business. I wouldn't be able to deliver what I do without you all 😃🫶🏼🙏🏼

Learning a new skill can always be so daunting. I find when my students embark on their fear, the feelings of the impossible become possible.

I had this lady out on a lesson this week and she told me "My balance is terrible. I definitely won't be standing without falling today". My words back to her were "I believe I can get everybody standing, and today is not going to be an exception".

Not only did she get standing (along with her amazing friend), but both of these ladies also managed to take away the basic to advanced level turn - the cross draw. It is a slightly complex move and certainly tests out your balance.

Words cannot describe the upset, sadness, shock, and other emotions that have flooded through from the wildfire ripping through this beautiful and historic town we all dearly love and cherish. My thoughts are with everybody directly affected.

Whatever you are telling your mind...change it. It is possible - EVERY BODY can stand and belong on a paddleboard.

I have worked with a variety of people of different ages from 5 - 79 years old, with different heights, weights, disabilities, and movement abilities. I am a fully certified personal trainer, so I can see how your body mechanics are operating/restricting you from getting standing. We work together to find the best way that works for you. We are all built differently, so the way I stand may not be the way you do.

This past week has been so crazy. I am so thankful for the amazing customers I am receiving.

I had some return customers for rentals who floated the Bow River one evening. All rentals are available for a drop off and pick up service - AND I provide river fins for you.

Lessons have been so busy. Mike has been teaching a lot this week - so thank you so much 😃

Calgary Community Paddle Club had a social night out on Friday. We hit up Wuldhorse tent which was a lot of fun 🤠👢

And lastly, I got to host this mother and daughter on a private sunrise paddle yesterday. It was an early start, but so worth it. The views were incredible.
