Today, our CEO Tannis Travel With Tannis embarked on an extraordinary journey through Italy, courtesy of the wonderful team Collette
Her adventure took her into the heart of Vatican City, where she had the privilege of touring the magnificent St. Peter's Basilica. As the largest church in the world, its breathtaking beauty and architectural grandeur were truly awe-inspiring.
Just yesterday Pope Francis delivered his speech during his weekly general audience in the St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican. It's is an incredible place steeped in history.
But the exploration didn't stop there.
Tannis also wandered through the Gallery of Maps, a testament to the artistry and ingenuity of the past. This hallway, adorned with large-scale frescoes, maps out the entire Italian peninsula. Each panel intricately depicts a region along with a perspective view of its most notable city, offering a unique journey through Italy's rich history and diverse landscapes.
We are immensely grateful to Collette for providing this opportunity to experience the wonders of Italy in such an immersive and memorable way. This journey not only offered a glimpse into the country's storied past but also inspired us with its enduring beauty and culture.

To say last night's launch party was a smashing success would be an understatement. It was a fantastic coming together of our travel community.
In a room surrounded by Western Canada suppliers and agents, what a great reminder of the force in Alberta
Never a better time to tap into the need for representation and collaboration within the travel industry in our part of the country.
Thank you to everyone that was able to attend, we even had a few personal flights home bumped to later to be there💕, and those who sent well wishes, swag bags, gift cards, flowers and wine💐🍷😉.

Alberta became a province on September 1, 1905. In recognition of this anniversary and in celebration of our province's unique spirit, culture, and heritage, the Provincial Government has designated September 1 as Alberta Day. There will be events run across the province from September 1-3, 2023.
In Edmonton the event will open with a blessing by Elder Gilman Cardinal. There are free tours of Alberta’s beautiful Legislature Building, and Alberta House, as well as a market, and more, with a drone show to cap off the evening.
