And finally, the reveal. Our massive 5 layer chain sculpture at Gulf Canada Square is now complete. 3000 pounds of chains, 2 lifts, over 500 feet of track, weeks of planning, weeks of installing and gallons of pride to my team! Shout outs to our project team; Darren Lane (PM), Adam Stone (lead install) and JP Murray (install and support). Great job everyone!

File this under cool stuff we do!

This is GiCor’s house brand of metal coil drapery. Available in painted steel, stainless steel and painted aluminum, in coil sizes from 3/16” up to 1” and custom painted in ANY finish that you can imagine.

This project included a series of three concentric circles, each with varying lengths along the perimeter.

Stainless and clear aluminum finishes play with the surrounding light to create interesting shapes above. Often used to create barriers and dividers within a space.

Our showroom includes a wide variety of styles and finishes hanging throughout the space.

GiCor is proud to be involved with procurement of all FF&E items for the new Red Deer Recovery Center in Blackfalds AB. As we near completion of the project, GiCor is organizing a book drive for both the male and female wings within this facility. We are looking for books with positive and empowering messages, thought provoking subjects as well as any fiction or non-fiction books with an upbeat story line. All material to be sent to:

Today we all celebrate Isha’s 4th anniversary with GiCor. I remember the day that she interviewed with us, and after meeting her, as she walked out the door I turned to my office manager Darren and we both said “Bam”. You see, every time we interview someone for a new position, we always hold out for the “Bam”. It’s hard to do when you’re building a team where each member’s role is specific and you know that you need an absolutely special person to fill that need. In our terms” Bam” is about honor, collaboration, integrity, happiness and humor. Five qualities I appreciate the most about all of our group! When you come in to GiCor, Isha is likely the first person that you meet. She’s sincere, creative, humble, great at what does and most of all a joy to be around. We know you’ll love her as much as we do!

Too hot? Too cold? Exterior shading provides a barrier between outside temperature extremes, shade in the summer months, extra insulation in the winter months. These Talius shades are treating the primary bedroom windows where it hits 30 plus degrees in the summer and ices up in the winter. Client already noted a 5 to 8 degree temp reduction this morning. Client very happy and looking forward to the hot summer evenings now.

Our sign is up! Can’t wait to show you more of our new location! Really grateful for more space, light-filled location! Feeling grateful for more opportunities! Like many businesses, we were stopped in our tracks when first lockdown happened, laid off our staff for what was to be an underdetermined amount of time. Who knew what would happen. Turned out that we had our worst three months ever followed by our best months ever! And it’s continuing !

Work stations (5)
We are moving to new lease space with new furnishings. We have 5 stand alone work stations of approx 90” x 77” with 5’6” walls. Fabric is a combo of light greys. Great for open work spaces. Great condition, no tears or blemishes.

Each desk comes with an overhead locking book shelf and lower filing cabinet (or two).

Pricing is $350 each (firm)

Some disassembly required so bring two people. Buyer MUST also have own truck to haul these. Must be gone by March 20 at the latest. Will hold with 50% deposit
