Honouring the collective mastery 👨‍✈️ 🚁

This post is for Todd, Perry, Paul, Chris, Slade, and Mark. A formidable team of Heli rescue pilots spread from Canmore to Golden with a staggering 80+ years of combined flying experience in the area. If you scroll through the pictures you’ll see pictures of two who were flying tours in the Canmore Area a few moons ago!

These remarkable individuals have dedicated their lives to ensuring the safety and well-being of others. Their courage knows no bounds as they navigate the unpredictable skies, facing challenges head-on to truly make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Todd, Perry, Paul, Chris, Slade, and Mark, your collective expertise is not just a number but a testament to the countless lives you've touched and the hope you've instilled in moments of despair.

Thank you. Your dedication to assisting others in times of need is a shining light in a turbulent world.

Alpine’s Kelowna base is being used as staging grounds for British Columbia Forest Service and other agencies who are providing direct fire suppression relief support: Horizon Helicopters, , , , , and more during the McDougall Creek Wildfires’.

With many of our own employees being impacted, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the many phone calls we have received as well as the communities drop off items, including fresh fruit from local Farmers in Kelowna, delicious bread from and many anonymous donations keeping our fridges and freezers full!


It’s amazing to see the community come together to support one another during these hard times, especially our front-line heroes who we can’t thank enough West Kelowna Fire Fighters Association as well as the other West Kelowna-based helicopter companies Valhalla Helicopters Inc. and , acknowledging all of their hard work and contributions to the fire suppression efforts.

Alpine would like to give a big shout-out and thanks to our crews who have been providing non-stop support as well as on stand-by ready to help whenever needed.
